Electronic Corrosion Engineer, or ECE for short, is a tool for quantitatively estimating depreciation and material selection for oil and gas production systems and processing facilities. At the heart of the program is a model for analyzing depreciation and material selection that works accurately based on laboratory data and calibration studies for pipelines. This program has valuable tools. For example, there is a tool to predict the corrosion rate for carbon steel in different conditions. There are other tools for risk prediction and assessment of carbon steel. Another tool of this software is to evaluate corrosion-resistant alloys, which introduces the best alloy based on different environmental conditions and automatically performs the risk of erosion, cracking and stress testing. To calculate the overall life cycle costs of carbon steel and corrosion-resistant alloys, a tool is considered that can be compared in pairs for each of its items.
