Description

ReFox is a small and efficient program for decompiling and extracting source code of programs written with FoxPro. If your executable file is healthy and without defects and you want to see its source, you can easily use this program. By downloading the compiled exe file from Visual FoxPro and FoxPro 2 and above, it extracts and displays its components including classes, databases, tables, queries, forms, reports and even program resources such as menus, images, text files, etc. The program has a viewer that displays the extracted source code, and in addition provides a tool to protect your source that can encrypt your code in several levels 1, 2 and 3.

It is interesting to know that Level I encryption can still be decrypted and decompiled with this program, but it is not possible to extract source code encrypted with Level II and Level III methods. ReFox can compare the original file with the decompiled file and show different parts of it. ReFox also has an internal compiler that generates the final program by providing project files with pjx and pjt extensions and compiles all VFP source code. The compiled file is exactly the same as the file that was delivered to you as a result of compiling with Visual Fox Pro 9 and also contains debugging information. This compiler can also be used to sync OBJCODE methods and fields in vcx and scx files.
