ODAC is a component library that allows you to connect to the Oracle database on Delphi, C ++ Builder, Lazarus, and Free Pascal on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux, and FreeBSD on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. This library is designed to speed up developers' access to Oracle Databases. ODAC stands for Oracle Data Access Components and is a complete and efficient solution with extensive capabilities for connecting to Oracle. This product is a good alternative to BDE or Borland Database Engin databases and standard dbExpress drivers.

ODAC supports both x86 and x64 versions of the following Oracle Clients: 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0, and 7.3. Note that support for x64 versions of Oracle Clients is available in Delphi and C++Builder for 64-bit Windows.
