Installation

There are two versions of Windows Server that have been released through LTSC and SAC channels; The released version of the LTSC channel is Server 2019, which is actually a new build of Windows Server 2016 and has the capabilities of the traditional versions of Windows Server. The released version of the SAC channel is known as Windows Server Version 1903 and is a new generation of Windows Server without a graphical user interface.

The 2019 version has been released in two versions: Retail via MSDN and Volume or VL via VLSC, which is due to the easier activation method of Volume editing. The 2004 version, which is usually updated at the same time and in the same build as the original version of Windows 10, is released via both MSDN and VLSC and is available in both volumes.
