Autodesk DWG TrueView enables you to view .dwg files. There are several ways to view, edit and share .dwg files. Native file format for AutoCAD files, without using AutoCAD software:

A360 Viewer: View designs in over 50 file formats, including .dwg without the need for plugins

DWG TrueView: This desktop software lets you view .dwg files, and you can convert new .dwg files to work with older versions of AutoCAD.

AutoCAD 360: A free application that lets you view, create, edit, and share CAD drawings using a web browser or mobile device.

The native data format of AutoCAD .dwg files contains all the information including drawings, geometric data, maps and photos. .dwg is one of the most common design data formats available in any design environment. Autodesk created this format in 1982 with the launch of the first version of AutoCAD software
